In the chilly winter, Hanan Team and volunteers made sure children stayed cozy by providing them with jackets and shoes.
Hanan team Organized groups of our kids to visit the Aqua Park and watch Dolphin Shows as outdoor activities, enhancing their love for outdoor activities and nature. Led by dedicated organizers, these excursions offer thrilling adventures and unforgettable experiences for our young explorers.
Dr. Rahmi Mawjood, and Dr. Kyle Smart, along with their medical team from Cucamonga Valley Medical Group, are paying a visit to our center. They come bearing gifts for the children and offering health check-ups for those facing medical concerns.
A special lecture with our volunteer Mr. Mohammed Alaa Ghanim, who has experience with scholarship applications, to provide the students with a comprehensive understanding of the scholarship application process in both America and Europe.
In the crisp October of 2023, the compassionate souls of Hanan team and dedicated volunteers provided the children with winter clothes, wrapping them in warmth and love.
Throughout the summer break, guests and visitors from the Hanan organization engaged in a variety of activities with the children.
Meet Hanan Children – Sama Mashaal
Born in 2006 Sama Mashaal used to live in city of Aleppo, Syria. She comes from a family of 5 people. Sama is a shy and quite girl that loves coming to the center regularly and performs good in her school study.
Sama likes singing and playing football. Her Turkish skills are good and constantly improving. She wants to pursue her ambition of becoming eye doctor in the future.
Meet Hanan Children – Bushra Hoomid
Bushra Hoomid is from the city of Aleppo, Syria. She comes from a family of 8 people. Bushra is a shy, well organized, and quite child that loves coming to the center regularly and performs good in her school study.
Bushra likes to read, and her Turkish language is good. She wants to pursue her ambition of becoming a pharmacist in the future.
Meet Hanan Children – Alaa Hoomid
Alaa is a twelve (12) years old refugee from the city of Aleppo. She lives with her family of 8 people who had to flee from Aleppo to safety and found in Istanbul a safe place.
Alaa is doing well in learning Turkish, and her favorite hobby is drawing. Alaa dreams of becoming a dentist one day.
Meet Hanan Children – Fatima Abu Turkey
Fatima is a shy, well organized, and quite child. Fatima loves coming to the center regularly and performs good in her school study. Her family consists of 6 members who had to leave Aleppo and settle in Istanbul as Syrian refugees escaping the horrors of war and destruction.
Fatima likes to read, draw and play with her friends. She is still working on her Turkish language skills, and wants to pursue her ambition of becoming a dentist in the future.
